Exposition of modern technologies titled “Day of the Field – 2004” organized in Kursk

On 13 August 2004 the Ministry of Agriculture of the Russian Federation and Administration of Kursk oblast, with the technical and organizational assistance from OJSC “Rosagroleasing”, staged a demonstration of modern technologies in the sphere of plant cultivation mechanization, titled “Day of the Field – 2004”.
 

YAROVIT Motors company of Saint Petersburg demonstrated the new Russian YAROVIT truck at the “Day of the Field”. The exhibit was a GLOROS family 8x8 wheel formula truck. The vehicle carries a payload of 24 400 kg (for the speed limit of 60 kmph this performance stands at 27 400 kg), whereas the admissible gross weight of a truck train is 79 tons.

Demonstration of the equipment was attended by Minister of Agriculture of Russia Alexei Gordeyev, Governor of Kursk oblast Alexander Mikhailov, Director General of OJSC “Rosagroleasing” Elena Skrynnik, heads of the biggest regional leasing companies and agricultural companies leasing the equipment.

The delegation of guests seeing the equipment exhibited, paid special attention to the new producer. Alexei Gordeyev, Minister of Agriculture of Russia, could not resist the temptation to sit behind the wheel of the new Russian Gloros truck and test it in work.

Demonstration of the new YAROVIT truck of Russian production evoked lively interest from the largest companies using equipment leasing schemes and the mass media. Such attention toward a new product proves that agriculture today needs the equipment of this class, the new-generation domestic technologies.
