«YAROVIT MOTORS» Automobile Plant joined NGVRUS

On April 30, 2009 «YAROVIT MOTORS» automobile plant became an affiliated member of the National Gas-Vehicle Association (NGVRUS). The main objective of the organization is the assistance in development of the market for more ecological and more reasonably priced fuel types. In large cities most of the air pollution comes from motor transport, operating on gasoline and diesel fuel. Besides, the problem of oil reserves depletion is getting more and more acute. With the current level of engineering industry development it is necessary to adapt to qualitatively new types of fuel. It primarily concerns the market promotion of gas fuel types: liquefied petroleum gas, compressed and liquefied natural gas. The Association also observes the development of technologies in the sphere of biogas and dimethyl ether production and application.

«YAROVIT MOTORS» Company pays particular attention to innovative technologies in engineering, issues regarding the environmental pollution by exhaust gases and the switch of the motor transport to alternative fuel types. Together with NGVRUS «YAROVIT MOTORS» works on market promotion of liquefied natural gas engines (LNG) in Russia.

Production technologies of YAROVIT vehicles constantly develop with the emergence of new trends and operating conditions for commercial transport. Early next year «YAROVIT MOTORS» plant plans to produce a prototype vehicle with the engine operating on liquefied natural gas.
