The guests were addressed by the top-management of the plant, as well Mikhail M. Safonov, Head of Administration of Kalininsky district on the territory of which the plant is situated.

 

The presented series model of the truck tractor was manufactured against the order of the Russian major oil enterprise OJSC “SurgutNefteGas”. The Agreement on trade-and-economic and scientific-technical cooperation signed by the Government of St. Petersburg and Khanty-Mansisk autonomous district in October of the present year has become a solid platform for developing cooperation between the enterprises of the two regions. Within the framework of this Agreement YAROVIT MOTORS Company is planning to expand its relations with Khanty-Mansisk autonomous district. Western Siberia is more than ever in need for heavy construction, road and special vehicles for natural resource development and ensuring complex social-economic development of the region. The complexity of the vehicle operating conditions in the Khanty-Mansisk district makes extracting companies pay special attention to vehicles capable of operating in the absence of proper roads without transportation efficiency losses. YAROVIT vehicles characteristics fully meet these requirements.

 

This is not the company’s first supply of vehicles to the Tyumen Region. Starting from June 2006 there are four YAROVIT tippers A3201D (6x6 wheel formula) operating in Nefteyugansk. The vehicles have proved to be highly efficient in spite of tough road and climatic operating conditions. The company’s interest in this region encouraged the decision to open the plant subsidiary in Western Siberia, the purpose of which will be support and maintenance of YAROVIT vehicles directly on the sites of operation. On the basis of the subsidiary in February 2006 an official JSC “YAROVIT MOTORS’ service center was established in Nefteyugansk city, which ensures repair, warranty and service maintenance of the vehicles (Nefteyugansk city, JSC “Yuganskavtotrans-1”).

 

Next year YAROVIT automobile plant plans to expand the geography of supplying its vehicles to various regions of the Russian Federation. In spring 2007 the company will offer to the market another innovation – truck tractor with gross train weight 120 tons. Dynamic growth rate of Russian economy, modernization and wide-scale investment in major industries, expanding production capacities require global renewal of the country’s obsolete truck fleet. The demand for YAROVIT-class vehicles increases every year. We plan to meet this demand via both vehicles sales and involving our own transportation company set up for this purpose in 2006. Its truck fleet comprises YAROVIT tippers with payload from 25 to 43 tons.
