Heavyweight on Russia’s roads!
Do we know many a heavy dump truck in Russia whose gross weight would be 45 – 50 tons while meeting the admissible width standard of 2.5 m? Volvo, Scania, Mercedes… Often one can see on Moscow’s roads the four-axle Hyundai truck and dump trucks made by other manufacturers. However, these vehicles are of 8x4 wheel formula. The Kama car-builders offer a similar make, the KamAZ-6540, and our close neighbor have their KrAZ-7133S4-D10 (Ukraine) and MZKT-65151 (Belarus). These vehicles are also in the 8x4 class. Yet, not everything is so bad in our Motherland! Once the CJSC “YAROVIT Motors” has launched its production in Saint Petersburg, the situation with 8x8 wheel formula dump trucks is bound to look up.
