Depending on their functional destination, GLOROS trucks are equipped with axles made by the world’s leaders specializing in heavy-duty vehicles, the companies SISU or Axletech International. Their products are used in DAF, VOLVO, Sisu, GINAF and other trucks designated for operation in adverse and complex road and climatic conditions (quarry and construction vehicles, lumber trucks, special-purpose vehicles, etc.).

 

The admissible thrust load on the driven axles is 10 tons, on the carrying axle and rear axle 13 tons. 16-ton rear axles can be installed on the client’s demand, providing enhanced payload of the vehicles. The lockup interaxle and cross-axle differentials are electro-pneumatically controlled.   

The use of “Tridem” type bogies provides an optimal load distribution between the truck axles. And the suspension configuration whereby one or two of the “Tridem” axles can be hung (uplifted) provides tangible economy of fuel and superior operational efficiency.
