YAROVIT truck line
The YAROVIT truck line has been constructed based on the “from complex to simple” principle. Essentially the approach consists in that the most complex models: 6x6, 8x8 and 10x8 are adopted as basic ones, and further development of the truck line progresses by simplifying the basic models.
The company commodity nomenclature represents trucks of 6x4, 6x6, 8x4, 8x6, 8x8, 10x6, 10x8 wheel formulae, which provide for the required load-carrying characteristics, the cross-country capacity and possibility to mount a wide array of superstructures and rigging. The chassis are platforms on which various-purpose vehicles are built: a bolster truck, a dump truck, a concrete mixer, a logger, a short logger, etc.
YAROVIT truck line setup variant
From the point of view of their setup/configuration, YAROVIT trucks are divided into three categories:
-
Cab-over-engine (COE). This setup provides for maximum use of the truck chassis usable length, i.e. packing as much special equipment as possible while retaining the vehicle overall length;
-
Cab-behind-engine (CBE), or conventional hooded-engine setup (HS). The use of this setup allows free access to the engine without lifting the cab, which is especially important for operation in adverse climatic conditions, and also provides for added safety of the driver in case of road accidents;
-
Cab-in-front-of-engine (CFE). The low position of the cab, when located in front of the engine, enables to mount big-length and tall superstructures and rigging without exceeding the admissible road dimensions.
Depending on the setup, the trucks are divided into three families:
-
«GLOROS» – COE trucks for use on the roads and off-the-road;
-
«DOGMUS» - CBE trucks for use on the roads and off-the-road;
-
«ORDEX» - CFE special-purpose trucks.
