YAROVIT TrucksYAROVIT trucks are designed for operation in complicated road and climatic conditions. Conforming to the branch (of industry) standard OH 025 270-66 valid for automotive enterprises of the Russian Federation, YAROVIT trucks belong to Classes 6 and 7 of cargo vehicles featuring gross weights of from 20.0 to 40.0 tons and above 40 tons respectively. According to the classification of automotive transportation means adopted in the Rules of the UN UEC, YAROVIT trucks are in Category 3 of motor vehicles, which embraces trucks, road tractors and special-purpose vehicles with a fully loaded weight of over 12 tons. In accordance with the trucks classification adopted in the USA, the vehicle shall be in the Heavy Duty category, i.e. one featuring a fully loaded weight of over 15 tons [1]. The principal distinction of the Heavy Duty category is the vehicle special design enabling it to: — in any situations of the vehicle moving under maximum loads, retain the designed proportionate distribution of the load among the axles, thus ensuring permanent hold on the road of all the vehicle wheels, both when rolling and during loading-unloading operations; — ensure high cross-country capacity and traction performances of the vehicle working as part of a super-heavy truck-train; — boost maneuverability of the vehicle; — ensure permanent ease of control irrespective of the load, whereby the driver controls the truck at any moment in real time; — mount any production equipment and power takeoff from the vehicle aggregates, due to the wide gamut of wheel formulae, engines, transmissions, cabs, frames, suspensions. — meet the requirements and fit in the limitation of dimensions for vehicle operation on public roads. Quantitative classification criteria of YAROVIT trucks
Thus, YAROVIT trucks can be identified as multi-axle trucks designed for operation on all types of roads, including public roads and off-the-road, featuring greater gross weights and axle loads than the ones admissible on public roads, enhanced tractive power, cross country capacity and maneuverability.
By their functional purpose, YAROVIT trucks represent vehicles designated for performance of various work: the bolster truck, the dump truck, the chassis mounting various equipment (logger, short logger, concrete mixer, truck crane, oil and gas exploration vehicle, etc). Special importance is paid to ensuring the dual-use capability of YAROVIT trucks, i.e. they can be used for both civilian and military applications.
