The CJSC “YAROVIT Motors” guarantees operability of the motor equipment sold throughout the warranty duration. The warranty covers the vehicle complete, including the componentry. The warranty does not cover the tires and storage batteries which are covered by warranties of the respective manufacturer.

The warranty duration for the complete vehicle is 12 months from the date of delivery, on the condition that the vehicle run during this period has not exceeded 50,000 (fifty thousand) km. The date of signing the Statement of Acceptance of the documentation for the goods (transfer of title of ownership for the goods from factory to user) is considered to be the delivery date.

The date of shipment is considered to be:

Warranty periods for main units and aggregates:

• Engine Cummins ISM 420 30— 24 months from the date of delivery of the truck, 160,000 km run, whichever occurs first;
• Engine Deutz BF06M1015C— 12 months from the date of delivery of the truck, or 100,000 km run, whichever occurs first;
• Gear box 16S221— 18 months from the date of delivery of the truck, or 100,000 km run, whichever occurs first;
• Axles SISU— 12 months from the date of delivery of the truck, or 80,000 km run, whichever occurs first;
• Steering mechanism ZF Lenksysteme— 24 months from the date of registration of the vehicle, or 250,000 km run, whichever occurs first.

In case of replacement of units and aggregates subject to warranty, these are covered by a new warranty period which is counted off from the date of replacement of the unit or aggregate. The case of replacement of a unit or aggregate is stated in the Reclamation Report.

The factory commits, within 5 work days from the moment of shipping the equipment, to register its warranty with the service station closest to the consumer and providing warranty servicing. A contract for warranty servicing of the equipment is signed once the consumer has applied to the service station or the factory. The factory, on its own and free of charge, or through a third party (the service station) subject to the relevant contract with the factory, carries out the pre-sale preparation of the equipment for operation. The pre-sale preparation includes the assemblage, unpacking, de-mothballing, eliminating damage resultant from transportation, checkup of factory settings and adjustments and volume of the liquids filled-in. During the warranty period, the factory performs one maintenance job following a 5,000-km run, limited to the scope of Maintenance-1 routines.

The list of maintenance routines following a 5,000-km run, of Maintenance-1 and Maintenance-2 is prescribed by the CJSC “YAROVIT Motors” company relevant Operating Manual.

The factory warranties for vehicle chassis supplied to and used in products of other companies, are determined by Statements of Purpose of the chassis and are defined in the relevant Certificate or Operating Manual of the product. The warranty period and run of such a product is counted from the date of purchasing the vehicle at the plant which has performed modification of the vehicle chassis, but not beyond one month from the days of purchase of the chassis by the factory producer of the superstructure/rigging. The consumer’s claims shall be addressed to these factories for initial examination.

In case of absence of certified service stations in the region of the equipment operation, the factory commits, on customer’s request, to organize warranty servicing at the premises of the customer, which is validated by a pertinent agreement. In this case the factory shall act as the service station.
